BoozBar

Communication Design Thesis
Project Overview
For this project I was challenged with the task of solving a problem through graphic design. The idea was to challenge myself both through design and problem solving in order to create one product that could solve an overall problem for my target demographic in a fun and functional way.
My Contributions
Through conducting research and surveys I came up with the general concept. Through more research and tweaking I came up with a design for my concept that best fit my target audience. I created BoozBar from the ground up with help from peers and instructors and their feedback along the way.
Project Purpose
September 2022 - April 2023
Boozbar gives college students and young adults easy access to cocktail recipes and ingredients to help them learn how to mix their own drinks and serve drinks at friend gatherings more conveniently. Many college age individuals live with roommates, making kitchen space limited. It’s difficult to host gatherings when shots aren’t the preferred method of drinking. However, mixing drinks for everyone to enjoy isn’t the easiest task when theres no storage space to keep bottles of juice, alcohol and everything else that goes into different kinds of cocktails.
After experiencing these issues first hand, and having conversations with friends and peers I was inspired to create Boozbar. Boozbar provides the supplies needed to make cocktails with the exact measurement needed for any gathering. This eliminates the need for the storage of leftover ingredients and over buying materials for a fun night in. Boozbar is designed to help young adults have fun without the limitation of space.
